Meet our staff Dr Praj Karkare comes from a family of dentists, and observed the dental clinic in-action through her childhood. This inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry, and to help the profession grow by conducting and publishing research on water fluoridation in Australia.

Praj loves forming real connections with her patients as she inspires them to protect their pearly whites, whether in English, Marathi or Hindi. She’s a natural at working with kids, and her calm demeanour makes it easy for her to settle any nerves or discomfort. Praj listens to each patient’s concerns with a deep sense of empathy, and regularly checks in throughout appointments to help them feel as comfortable and safe as possible.

Outside of dentistry, Praj loves spending time with her family, and is an avid traveller. Recent trips have taken her to the United States and Europe, but when she’s back in Sydney, Praj’s adventures usually involve exploring her local cafes.
Dr Michael Ho has been practicing dentistry for over three decades. After receiving his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Sydney, Dr Ho began practicing in NSW in 1991. Although Dr Ho is experienced in all facets of dentistry, he has a special interest in new dental technology, short-term orthodontics, dental implants, lasers and cosmetic dentistry. He believes strongly in continuing education and is also a clinical trainer for CAD-CAM technology in Australia. While he enjoys staying on top of all the new technological developments in dentistry, Dr Ho’s first priority will always be his patients, saying that, “My patients make my job!”. In his spare time, Dr Ho’s five children keep him more than busy! After studying at La Trobe University in Victoria, Dr Barbara Liu began her dental career in 2013. Dr Liu is passionate about delivering a high standard of dental care to the Lane Cove community, even when patients need a different approach. She takes pride in her ability to calm and treat anxious patients, and also excels at treating children. However, with a strong focus on patient care and comfort, she’s dedicated to helping all patients achieve their healthiest smile. Outside the clinic, she enjoys playing futsal and spending quality time with friends Dr Ricky Lim graduated from James Cook University in Cairns before embarking on his dental career in Sydney. He has a friendly and warm approach to his patients and it has helped him develop a reputation as an excellent dentist. Dr Lim grew up in Auckland before moving to Sydney to attend Killara High School. Dr Lim has strong interests in all fields of Dentistry. He is passionate about preventative care, paediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, cosmetics including crowns and veneers, implants and wisdom teeth removal. Dr Lim attends the Australian Dental Association’s (ADA) recognised continuing professional development courses frequently to stay up-to-date on the latest dental technology and techniques. Dr Lim is a strong believer in oral health being fundamental to overall health and aims to help his patients work towards having a healthier mouth and a more beautiful smile. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and practicing for 3 years, Dr Kulkarni moved to Australia and completed her Australian Dental Council (ADC) Examinations to become a fully certified general dentist.
